The people behind Shakey's V-League don't want to get involved in the Philippine Volleyball Federation's (PVF) ongoing leadership crisis. Sports Vision chairman Moying Martelino, Ateneo president Ricky Palou , and Shakey’s executive vice president and chief operating officer Vic Gregorio are all in agreement that they want to bring the sport closer to the fans. "As much as possible, we don’t want to dip our hands in the ongoing leadership squabble in the (Philippine Volleyball Federation),” said Palou. Palou is being eyed by a group, led by suspended PVF secretary-general Vangie De Jesus, to replace embattled president Gener Dungo. "The issue is a matter that needs to be discussed within the (national sports association),” Martelino added.
