NCAA stars to shine in 89
College of Saint Benilde (CSB) formally started its hosting duties for the 89th National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) season when the Taft-based school received the league flag during Tuesday night’s turnover ceremony held at Letran College’s St. Thomas Hall. Incoming NCAA policy board president Bro. Dennis Magbanua, FSC, who will also formally assume the post of CSB president on May 15, received the flag from Fr. Tamerlane Lana, OP, of outgoing Season 88 hosts Letran. Lana said they at Letran now have a sense of relief and gratitude for hosting Season 88, as they have done their best to meet the expectations of all NCAA fans. "We had the opportunity of bringing the league into the consciousness of more fans. The NCAA is a national student league that contributes to the development of our Filipino youth athletes,” said Lana. Fr.
